Many things at the same time.

Last Sunday, I sat, wedged between the kitchen couch and patio door, awkwardly washing the floor and polishing the glass at the same time, reflecting on the multitudes of awareness we each carry with us.

At the same time: 

At the same time, I'd rather be working on the foget me not pattern I started drawing last night. 

At the same time, I have a quilt to finish and gift before November 20th.

At the same time, we have a son's birthday to celebrate and another son home from college for the weekend.

At the same time, the living room is overflowing with mountains of freshly cleaned wool that needs sorting.

At the same time, I need to make the chicken soup before the chicken goes off.  And there are beets that need roasting and pickling. 

At the same time, I have a lot of work at the office to look forward to next week.

At the same time, the low light angle of the season is casting rainbows thru the prism.

At the same time, the low light angle shows that the windows and floors need a pre-winter wash.  

At the same time, there are astounding humanitarian crises happening in the US and around the world.  

At the same time, I need to go walk the hills with the dog so that my knees and ankles are up for a winter of walking on snow and ice.

This is just the surface of what's on my mind.
